Guiseppe Garramone, Roma's owner, was born in Pietrapiertosa,
a small town in Southern Italy. At the age of eighteen Guiseppe
moved to New York City where he developed his skills as a chef.
In 1973, he brought his sixteen years of restaurant experience to
Dover, where he opened Roma. Now with well over thirty-five years
of experience, Guiseppe has passed his skills on to his son, and
your chef, Joseph Garramone, Jr. Over the years Roma has evolved
from a small pizza shop into one of the states premier fine dining
restaurants. No longer just Italian, Roma's cuisine stretches around
the globe including Asian, Southwestern, and classic American. It
is Roma's goal to serve our guests the best possible dishes prepared
with the freshest ingredients with the same pride that Joe Sr. started
with over thirty years ago. We thank you for your patronage and
